Don't get me wrong - his rhetoric is inspiring, but therein lies the problem: it's just rhetoric. What he needs is a demonstrated record of progressive leadership, and he's done little in the way of fighting for important legislation in the Senate. <BR/><BR/>Granted, being a progressive Democrat in the GOP-controlled Congress is a serious obstacle for actually accomplishing much, but he's not been very assertive in advancing the principled progressive values that he so eloquently espouses. <BR/><BR/>Personally, I think there are several progressive Democrats out there who are much more seasoned, and ready for a run at the White House - Russ Feingold is at the top of that list, IMO.Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07272536951417380102noreply@blogger.com
